Welcome to the Citizens for a Healthier Lakewood Website

Colorado’s Clean Indoor Air Act made most indoor public places smoke-free, yet smoking is still allowed in some indoor and outdoor public places in our community. This partial protection from secondhand smoke means that you're still completely exposed.

Citizens for a Healthier Lakewood is a coalition made up of  Lakewood citizens who are working together with other community groups to make Lakewood a healthier place to live. We are currently working to help strengthen the city's tobacco ordinances to reduce public exposure to secondhand smoke and to decrease youth tobacco use.
